Deleting your account
The Ghisa Pro app, for people who train.

This page is about the Ghisa Pro app for people who train, provided by Viola Fabrizio, sole proprietorship, VAT number (partita IVA) 03959520929 (full details are in the Legal notice). How we handle your data is explained in the app privacy notice.
1. From the app: the quickest way
- Open the app and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap “Delete account and data” and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent: your data is deleted from the server, not deactivated. If you want to keep a copy, export it first from Settings → Backup → Export.
If you are the owner of a gym that uses the Ghisa Pro panel, the account can't be closed from the app: write to us as in point 2, because the gym's data has to be exported and closed first.
A subscription doesn't stop by itself. If you have an ad-free subscription in the iPhone or Android app, deleting your account does not cancel it: the renewal is managed by the store, and you need to cancel it from the subscription settings of the App Store (on iPhone) or Google Play (on Android), before or after deleting your account. From the app you get there via Settings → Your plan → “Manage subscription”.
2. Without the app: by email
Write to info@ghisapro.com from the email address you use to sign in to the app, with the subject “Account deletion”, and tell us your nickname. We reply to that address to confirm that the request comes from you; once confirmed, we delete the account with the same effects as in point 1 and let you know in writing. We do this as soon as possible and in any case within one month of the request (art. 12 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
If you are under 16 and closed the app during sign-up, before confirming your date of birth, only the account with your email address is left: write to us the same way (no nickname needed) and we'll delete it.
If you no longer use the address you signed up with, write to us from another one and explain the situation: we'll ask you for what we need to be reasonably sure that the account is yours, and nothing more.
3. What gets deleted
- the account and the email address you sign in with;
- the profile: nickname, photo, date of birth, sex, height, area, language;
- health data: weigh-ins, body measurements, body fat percentage, the food log, whatever came in from Apple Health or Health Connect, and the record of your consents;
- training: programs, workouts, sets, max lifts, history, exercises you created, settings;
- career: rank, Ghisa Points, declared workouts and your position on the leaderboard;
- linked friends, invites and the program you share with them;
- your public program, even if withdrawn, with its votes and downloads, and the votes, saves and reports you made;
- the gyms you've given access to, the link to your membership and the notices the gym received from you;
- your plan (trial, subscription, gift) and the log of plan changes;
- notifications: your phones' codes, your choices, your consent to “News and offers” and notifications still queued on the server.
4. What remains, and for how long
| What | For how long |
|---|---|
| Encrypted backup copies | they contain the data as it was on the day of the copy: we delete them by hand, checking at least once a month, so that none is older than 12 months |
| Data your gym keeps in its member records | the gym handles it as controller (membership, membership plans, entries, class bookings, including those made from the app, programs prepared for you): to have it deleted, contact the gym |
| Emails you sent us | as long as the request takes, at most 2 years |
| Providers' technical logs (IP address) | according to Cloudflare's and Supabase's security practices; we don't keep them |
| Subscription with the App Store or Google Play | until you cancel it from the store: deleting the account doesn't stop it |
| Customer record at RevenueCat (the service that passes us the subscription status) | the account's technical identifier and the purchase history: after deletion we delete it by hand; if you like, you can also ask for this at info@ghisapro.com |
| Payment data | kept by Apple and Google, as controllers, according to their own rules |
| Notifications at Google (Firebase) | the app asks Firebase to cancel the phone's code; a notification already sent and not yet delivered stays with Firebase for at most 2 days; the installation identifier its library creates on the phone is kept by Google according to its own rules |
| Weigh-ins the app wrote to Apple Health or Health Connect | they stay there: remove them from those apps |
| Data left on the phone or in the browser | until you uninstall the app or clear the site data (see the Cookies page) |
5. Deleting only part of your data
You don't need to close your account to remove something. From the app: Settings → Reset data (max lifts, weigh-ins, all workouts, or a full reset), measurements one by one from the measurements page, the public program with “Remove from the list”, access for a gym from its page. For anything else, write to info@ghisapro.com.
